Mentor-In-Residence Program

Matching entrepreneurs with experience.

About the Program

The Community Futures Cowichan Mentor-In-Residence (M-In-R) Program is about matching new and growing entrepreneurs with experienced Mentors to support business and economic growth in our Region.

A one-on-one mentoring relationship allows the participants to get the wisdom, knowledge and support this specific to their needs and business goals. The program is a place where Mentors can give back in a meaningful way in the area they have a passion for.

Mentees

The mentee is the driver of the mentoring relationship, which takes a lot of initiative on their part. Before beginning a mentoring relationship, a mentee should be clear about their goals. By doing this, a mentee can present a realistic picture of themselves and their business.

Be prepared to share with the mentor a set of goals and objectives they hope to obtain from the relationship and make a commitment to their mentor to work through those goals and objectives and report on their progress.
