Our approach to financing small business works.

An Ongoing Commitment to Small Businesses

Community Futures has been providing rural entrepreneurs with the counselling, services and supports they need to establish and grow their businesses for over 30 years. This means we may be able to provide loans to businesses that do not qualify elsewhere.

Community Futures is a developmental lender, and we have a different approach than financial institutions.

Below we have 8 different templates and resources to assist you in your business plan and budgeting. Each downloaded for your use. Please contact one of our Business Analysts with any questions or to review your plan.

Regional Relief and Recovery Fund

The RRRF program has been extended to June 30, 2021.

This Government of Canada fund has been established to support small and medium-sized businesses that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Approximately $39.3 million has been allocated to western Canada. You can now apply under the revised guidelines.

Community Futures Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP)

The EDP is a business loans program that reduces obstacles people with disabilities or ongoing health issues may face when looking for financing.

At Community Futures we believe that managing ongoing health or disability issues should not be a barrier to business success.
